More than a house went up in smoke, as friendship, marriage, and career are put in jeopardy. There is murder in the air, as well. From Lynn’s mother, who signs her notes “Bert, your mother”, to a Great Dane/Rottweiler named Bob, each character has I-knew-someone-like appeal, with a nice dose of quirky, making them easy for the reader to know. There are clues along the way, but don’t be too quick in solving the crime, as some may be laying the road for the next in the series. The plot is well constructed and moves quickly. I loved all the characters. And I could see why Lynn loved Warick County. I laughed out loud… -reader
